My name is LT Dantzler, I am the founder of Backbone Outdoors. I grew up hunting on my family’s farm in Holly Hill, South Carolina. This property has been in our family for around 200 years. I spent a large part of my childhood there, and it is where I grew to love the outdoors. From a young age I always had the dream of starting my own outdoor apparel. I wanted to make cool and fun outdoor based apparel for people to enjoy just like so many companies did for me growing up. While growing up I was taught that success comes from hard work. The backbone of success is hard work. This is where we got our name, Backbone Outdoors, and our slogan, “Work Hard, Hunt Harder”. Although I believe hard work leads to success, I do not believe hard work and the ambition for success should cloud what we are put on this earth to do, glorify God. Faith is the most important thing in my life, and I believe the outdoors is one of the best places to grow closer to God.
